Visit Protocols
- Before registering, please review our Harvey Mudd College Visitor Policy.
- Check in with the Office of Admission prior to the start of your visit.
- Campus directions, parking and check-in instructions are emailed to you after registration.
- Please follow directions of our staff, student tour guides, and other Claremont Colleges personnel.
Information Sessions, Guided Campus Tours & Self-Guided Tours

Visit Schedule
- During your visit, we will offer an information session, guided campus tour and/or self-guided tour. The options available are stated in the registration form. Guests have to register only once to attend both the information session and the guided campus tour.
- Guided campus tours: Our tours are led by current HMC students, who will provide an in-person overview and walkthrough of the college and its student resources.
- Self-guided tours: Once you arrive to campus, check in at the Office of Admission for your self-guided tour. During your check-in, you will receive a virtual self-guided tour pamphlet. This resource walks you through an outdoor self-guided tour. We ask our guests to not enter any residential buildings. However, guests are allowed to walk through academic buildings. Most guests spend about an hour on our campus. No registration is required for self-guided tours.
- Group tours: For high school groups or community-based organizations of 5-25 students, please visit our group tour portal to schedule a visit.
Virtual Visits and Events
- Students and families can attend our virtual information sessions, virtual tours and other virtual events by visiting HMC Virtual Visits and Events.
