WISTEM 2022 Application

Thank you for applying for the sixth Annual Women's Inclusion to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (WISTEM) program! 

The HMC WISTEM program is intended for students who are rising high school seniors (or equivalent), who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (who live within the United States) and are committed to the inclusion of women in STEM. Invited WISTEM participants will receive a fee waiver for their 2023 first-year application to HMC. 

The WISTEM 2022 Application requires all of the following. Given that you are unable to save your progress on this form, we suggest you gather these materials before you begin filling out the WISTEM application.

1. Essay (prompt available in the Essay section below)
2. Unofficial transcript/report card reflecting 9th grade-present (screenshots from electronic grade book, scanned copies of report cards/progress reports, etc.)
3. Upload a resume OR list your extracurricular activities, honors, jobs, etc below. Here you can learn tips on how to write a resume from Harvey Mudd College students.  

Use the widgets in the Application Documents section below to upload your transcript and resume to your application. Please do NOT send these materials via email, fax, or regular mail, as we will be unable to pair them with your application.

All application materials are due by Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 11:59 PT. We are unable to accept materials past the deadline.

Note:  Beginning July 1, 2022, students were given the option either to submit a resume or to list their activities, honors, jobs, and other commitments. If you submitted your application prior to this date, please note that your application will receive the same full consideration as submissions after this edit. Please do not resubmit an application.
